Country Range Group sources suppliers for Webinar Training Sessions

February 7, 2021

The Country Range Group has announced it will be rolling out a series of Sales Education Webinar Sessions in 2021 after this year’s events proved a game-changer during the fight against COVID-19 and the government restrictions.

On the back of the thirteen successful events during a COVID-19 disrupted 2020 and with further restrictions at the start of the year causing extra complications to the supply chain, a new series of virtual workshops will be scheduled throughout 2021 with the first one taking place on 30th March 2021.

The informative events allow brands and suppliers to showcase their products and provide the most up-to-date information, essential training and education around their products to hundreds of sales, telesales and marketing representatives from across the CRG membership.

Country Range Group Marketing Controller Emma Holden said: “If 2020 taught us anything it was that members, suppliers and customers must communicate and be reactive to the challenges thrust upon them. With COVI9-19 and the ensuing lockdowns causing carnage for the sector, it’s been vital that suppliers have still been able to showcase their products and provide essential training around their brands in a different way. Our webinar sessions have provided exactly that. The first thirteen sessions were a huge success and we’re thrilled to be able to roll out several more in 2021 and urge suppliers wanting to be involved to get in touch.”

Premier Foods and Kellogg’s were among the suppliers who partnered with the Country Range Group in 2020 to provide sector specific training around the education, care and hospitality sectors.

Mike Ager, Business Account Manager of Premier Foods, said: “We know that it’s been a challenging year for operators and some may have felt cut off from suppliers as a result of the pandemic. Our collaboration with the Country Range Group allowed us to utilise technology with a virtual event to bridge the gap between Premier Foods and its members, with a particular focus upon sales and telesales teams. By working in partnership with CRG as part of its Road to Recovery Webinar Series, we were able to share our expertise, product information and offer professional chef guidance which is more important than ever to our customers.”

Further sales facing webinar opportunities are still available and suppliers are asked to email enquiries@countryrange.co.uk for more details.
