The Clink Charity Golf Day brings hospitality people from across the UK together every year.
The venue selected needs to offer a world class golf experience and provide hospitality at a level that is fitting to host guests that themselves operate venues that excel in its provision.
2019’s delivery of an exceptional experience for more than 100 guests has led to a return to The Belfry in 2021.

Christopher Moore, Chief Executive, The Clink Charity outlined the decision making process for us saying: “The feedback from our guests was unanimous, a great day was had by all. The Belfry is a golf resort that has hosted more Ryder Cup’s than any other in the world. So, for many golfers lucky enough to play in 2019 saw them ticking one item off their ‘bucket list’.
“It was also great to see so many people not only take part by playing golf, but also so many non-players join the dinner and auction in the evening.
“The dinner was exceptional, the Belfry’s chefs on duty that evening all knew many of their peers were attending, and all three courses stood up to any and all scrutiny, as did the wine selections.
“The auction raised more than £2,200 on the night from many generous prize donations from CH&CO, Coworth Park – Dorchester Collection, Preferred Hotels & Resorts and others. These funds make a difference and enable us to help our trainees find work in hospitality.”
The day was possibly best summed up by Ian Thomas, CEO, Bartlett Mitchell in the video below.
So, as we wave goodbye to 2020, we look forward to 2021 and particularly to Thursday 24th June 2021, when once again hospitality will gather at The Belfry to enjoy a day of world class golf and hospitality raising funds for a world class charity, The Clink.
