Countrywide takes over management of Festival Hotel Group

Countrywide Hotels has announced it is taking over management of the entire Festival Hotel Group portfolio. Contracts were completed at the end of October.

Nine hotels come under the Countrywide umbrella, and all are independently branded.

The hotels total 401 rooms, primarily located in the Midlands and North England include the Allerton Court Hotel, the Bridge Hotel and Spa, the Comfort Inn Sunderland, the Crab & Lobster Restaurant and Hotel, the Hallgarth Manor House, the New Hobbit, the Three Ways House Hotel (home of the Pudding Club), and the Wroxton House Hotel.

Darren Patt, Managing Director of Countrywide Hotels said of the new management agreement: “We are delighted to be working with the Festival owners and management of this group of hotels. This group of hotels gives Countrywide Hotels an even stronger presence in the Midlands and North of England.”
