Gordon Ramsay has announced he will be selling £80 burgers in his new restaurant in West London’s Harrods opening next week. From early indications on Instagram diners are eager to consume them.
Ramsay’s Wagyu burgers, set within a bun also containing fresh black truffle, Pecorino cheese and cep mayonnaise start at £80, if you want chips that’s extra.
For diners that do not have an appetite to shell out eighty quid for a burger, a more modestly priced traditional burger will be available for £21.
There will also be a lobster and shrimp burger option on the menu, with pickled vegetables and herb aioli for £42, and hot dogs with braised ox cheek, horseradish, house pickles and cress for £21.
The new opening was announced by Gordon Ramsay through his Instagram account, and immediately created demand with countless followers proclaiming their inability to wait to spend £80 on a burger when the new restaurant opens in Knightsbridge on December 4.
Well, it is Knightsbridge darling …
