BBC1’s Songs of Praise visited The Clink Charity at HM Prison Styal recently to get a view behind the scenes as the restaurant prepares for reopening.
Tomorrow afternoon when the programme is aired on BBC 1, reporter Claire McCollum sits down and talks rehabilitation with Clink CEO, Chris Moore. McCollum aims to gain insight to how the work done by The Clink reduces reoffending by more than 65%, and she does.

Songs of Praise visits HM Prison Styal and sees inmates training and testing new dishes that guests can enjoy when the restaurant is reopened.
We must ‘confess’ that Songs of Praise is not ordinarily on our must watch TV list, but it will be tomorrow at 1.15pm.
We would like to once again recognise the great work done by Chris Moore and the wider team at The Clink. Not just helping prisoners in rehabilitation, also showcasing hospitality at its very best.
