Washing your hands seems simple enough, but doing it properly is not quite as straight forward as some might think. To have maximum effect and remove the risk of transmitting Covid-19, some simple rules need to be followed.
There are numerous sources of information available and possibly the best is from the NHS. Rather than spell out the NHS guidelines you can see them for yourself here.
The first piece of advice from the NHS, and many others is how long anyone should spend washing their hands. A minimum of 20 seconds is the answer, and the NHS advice is: “You should wash your hands for the amount of time it takes to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ twice (around 20 seconds).”
To avoid the necessity of anyone needing to sing Happy Birthday twice at your hospitality venue, we have Hand Wash Timers that enable you, your staff and guests to get things right quietly.
Hand Wash Timers not only keep noise levels down, and hands clean, but also send a clear message to all staff and guests that your hospitality venue takes hygiene and safe hospitality seriously.
We have tried to apply a little bit of fun to a very important message, as we think it’s still important to try and raise an occasional smile.
On a serious note: if you would like to find out more about our Hand Wash Timers simply complete the form below for details and we will be delighted to forward them to you.
