The results of the ENS UV Cleaning technology and installation competition from ENS Group and ARC Services are in. Such was the enthusiasm and quality of entries a number of contenders won additional prizes as well as the outright winner being awarded £2,000 of ENS UV Cleaning technology and installation.
We are delighted to announce that the winner is Adam Handling, Chef / Owner of Adam Handling Restaurant Group.

We spoke with Adam earlier and he was more than pleased with the outcome. Commenting on the win he told us: “We have tried to take every possible measure to ensure the safety of our customers and colleagues across the group.
“Now being able to add ENS UV Cleaning Technology to our ‘safe hospitality’ proposition adds even more risk mitigation and confidence in dining at Adam Handling Restaurant Group.”
The general standard of entry was high and showed that entrants had not only looked with more than a glance at the features, advantages and benefits of the ENS UV Cleaning technology, but also applied much thought to their entry’s.
In fact the standard was so high that a number of entries were awarded prizes on merit.
Colin Mackie, Sales & Marketing Manager, EMEA & ROW, at ENS explained the thinking behind the extra prizes awarded: “It was evident that people had taken time to consider their entry and give thought to how the prize could be applied to their restaurant.
“As such, when we were narrowing down the final entries for deliberation, a number kept being championed by colleagues. So, we decided that we would give an additional six prizes to those that struck notes around the judging table. All have now been informed and all are delighted.”
The installation of the winning entry at one of the restaurants within the Adam Handling Restaurant Group will be carried out by ARC Services.
Steve Rac, Managing Director, ARC Services was one of the judges and like Colin Mackie was more than impressed by the volume and quality of the entries commenting: “There was no doubt for me about the winner, but it was a challenging process to arrive at as some of the judges were singing the praises of multiple entries. In the end the decision was unanimous, but we all agreed that some additional prizes were warranted.
“In the months ahead we will be driving all over the country to deliver and install technology from ENS that makes restaurants even safer for staff and diners. We get huge satisfaction from that as it makes us feel we are doing our bit.”
