As hospitality businesses stare into an abyss, government rescues en masse grouse shooting

September 16, 2020

With zero need to emphasise the scope and scale of the negative impact on hospitality businesses from Covid-19 we rely on the government to help and assist in lessening the load from that impact.

In and amongst the work going on within government to address the ongoing crisis, you would hope some sense of prioritising actions would be applied.

So, while hospitality businesses across the UK continue to struggle with adjusting to the current business landscape catering for groups of no more than 6 people, the government has ensured that groups of up to 30 grouse hunters can continue to shoot wild birds for pleasure.

Doubtless millions of people up and down the land will be rejoicing at this news. Good grief…
