The H&C News Clink Charity Golf Day raises awareness of and funds for The Clink Charity who do vital work in training people to enter a career in hospitality. In 2019 over £2,200 was raised as well as a great day of golf being enjoyed by teams representing every sector of our great industry.

The 2019 event was held at The Belfry, a venue synonymous with golf that has hosted more Ryder Cup tournaments than any other golf venue in the world.
Based on unanimous feedback from all who took part, The Belfry having delivered an almost perfect golf day in 2019 has been selected again as our venue partner for 2020 taking place on Thursday 25th June 2020. The only change for 2020 being upgrading the day’s play to The Belfry’s PGA National Course.

Recognised throughout the world of golf as a world-class tournament course, the the PGA National is the only PGA golf course in England.
The Belfry has witnessed some of the most dramatic and memorable moments in the history of golf, like in 1985 when Sam Torrance famously putted to win the Ryder Cup for Europe.

The golf will be followed by a three course dinner in the evening, with certificates and prizes for individuals and teams.
