Cocktailian, Carl Brown will launch Bar Tincture in partnership with The PEPPER Collective restaurant group on Friday 7th February underneath Simplicity Burger on Brick Lane. Tincture sees the acclaimed mixologist combine two innovative visions under a single East London roof.
The ﬁrst will be the ‘Modern Apothecary’ menu, which will feature plant-based cocktails centred around 4 seasonal tinctures. Each tincture is based on a single ingredient, with the idea that all 4 are complementary.
And the second, the non-alcoholic menu will be the ‘Alternative Speakeasy’ is a demonstration of Carl’s determination to prove that a lack of alcohol does not need to mean a compromise in either taste or experience.
Neil Rankin’s plant-based ’Simplicity Burger’ restaurant is upstairs, the location and pairing of the offerings matches a forward thinking approach to sustainability and reducing waste.
