New British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur launched by White Heron

October 21, 2019

British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur

White Heron Drinks is once again ‘Daring to be Different’ after augmenting its selection of artisan liqueurs with the launch of the unique British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur, now available through Love Drinks.

The younger sibling of the award-winning British Cassis, the new Framboise is made with the finest Herefordshire raspberries and classic winemaking techniques in order to acquire the full spectrum of flavours from the fruit.

Once the raspberry juice has fermented naturally with champagne yeast, it is blended with a little vodka to fortify and sweeten, in order to accentuate the rich, zesty flavours before bottling.

Fresh and fruity, the British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur provides the perfect balance of sweet and sharp and is available in sleek 500ml and 200ml bottles.

A great addition to champagne or your favourite fizz, the British Framboise has a vibrant colour and is a great base for a wide range of drinks and cocktails.

To support the launch and drive trial, White Heron has rolled out a selection of scintillating signature serves including a Sweet Delight – a take on the famous Clover Club Cocktail Recipe, a Framboise Basil Smash and a Framboise Spritz.

The British Framboise is also suitable for vegans and can be used to great effect in a selection of low alcohol serves and drinks.

Founder of White Heron Drinks, Jo Hilditch said: “This has been a few years in development so we’re really excited to now bring British Framboise to the market and can’t wait to see the reaction from the mixologists, the wider drinks trade and consumers.  The essence of our raspberries, grown in the fields of Herefordshire, is perfectly captured in this liqueur offering a new dimension to a wide range of drinks, serves and cocktails.”

About White Heron Drinks – Daring to Be Different

British Framboise Raspberry Liqueur

Founded by Jo Hilditch in 2005, White Heron Drinks famously produces British Cassis, a luxurious blackcurrant liqueur made using fruit from Whittern Farms in Herefordshire, which has been in her family for four generations.

A British take on a classic French crème de Cassis, British Cassis is made with pressed blackcurrant juice and utilising classic winemaking techniques in order to capture the intensity of the freshly picked British blackcurrants.

Following Jo’s appearance on Dragon’s Den where she famously rejected four offers from the Dragons, the British Cassis has seen stunning success with key listings in nationwide retailers such as Waitrose and numerous awards including a 3-star Gold Great Taste award.

White Heron Drinks are distributed by Love Drinks with the British Cassis already stocked in prestigious ON-trade venues such as The Ivy, Brown’s Restaurant Group, the Clove Club, the Lighterman and the Rosewood Hotel.
