Radisson Hotel Group is has today announced the appointment of Sergio Amodeo as Chief Financial Officer of Radisson Hospitality AB effective from 1st June 2019.
Amodeo joins Radisson Hotel Group from TeamSystem Group, a leading management software company in Italy, where he was CFO since 2015 and supervised the sale of the group.
Prior to that, he spent two years serving as CFO of Bolton Group, a privately owned FMCG group, following sixteen years at Danone. His final role there saw him responsible for the global corporate development of the company’s leading division – after holding several country and regional CFO roles.
Amodeo graduated from the Insead Advanced Management Program and has a major in Business Economics from the University of Salerno.

Amodeo will take on the duties of Knut Kleiven, who is currently the Deputy President & CFO of Radisson Hospitality AB and after more than 30 years of service is retiring.
Formerly an Internal Auditor for SAS, Knut joined the company in 1986 as Group Accounting Manager, swiftly moving up to become CFO in 1994, when the Rezidor Hotel Group signed a strategic agreement with Carlson Hotels to develop the Radisson SAS brand under a master franchise agreement for EMEA. He helped guide the group’s rapid expansion, actively supporting the President & Chief Executive Officer in driving the company’s strategic development, while also steering its economic policy.
“I wish to personally thank Knut for his hard work and dedication over the many years he has been a part of the group,” continued González-Tejera. “He has been an inspirational and iconic figure within our company for decades and has helped transform it into the globally renowned brand it is today. I wish him all the best during his retirement.”
Taking over the role of CFO from Knut, Amodeo will be based at Radisson Hospitality AB’s headquarters in Brussels, reporting directly to President & CEO Federico J. González-Tejera. Within EMEA, Amodeo will have responsibility for the Finance, Accounting, Group Tax, Internal Audit, and Group Controlling central teams.
