Following the provision of free MiBODY fitness sessions for hospitality staff each month as part of its Love Well initiative, Love Drinks has now announced the first ‘Invest in Rest’ workshop in April to support people working in the ON-trade cope with the mental pressures of the job.
Taking place during National Stress Awareness Month on the 24th April at 2pm at the Singer Tavern, 1 City Road, London, EC1Y 1AG, the workshop is being run by Merlinda Kammerling – the founder of Me, Myself in Mind, which provides stress reduction and mental health awareness classes, specifically for the hospitality industry.
Empowering people by providing a better understanding of self-care and mental health awareness, ‘Invest in Rest’ is a 90-minute introductory class designed to educate attendees on what stress is and provide the tools which can help to reduce the effect it has on us.
Kirsty Loveday, Founder and CEO of Love Drinks, said:
“Our MiBODY fitness sessions are proving extremely popular with hospitality staff but we realise that not everyone wants or needs a physical push plus many people already have their own favourite fitness routines and activities. So as April signifies National Stress Awareness month and no doubt Easter will be a busy period for the On-trade, we wanted to offer something completely different that can help bartenders, waiters, chefs and managers deal with the mental stresses that come with a job in hospitality. Merlinda’s class is a brilliant introduction to stress reduction so we’re urging as many as our customer’s teams to come along.”
