The Holiday Inn Milton Keynes – Central has unveiled a major refurbishment including opening a new Marco Pierre White restaurant. The hotel has teamed up with the celebrity chef and restaurateur to launch his New York Italian branch, which is already proving a huge hit with guests and local diners.
The unveiling comes as the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes – Central underwent a significant refurbishment to improve the public spaces and importantly upgrade the food and drink offering at the hotel. The new open lobby dining area consists of Marco’s New York Italian eatery, offering a mixture of Italian-inspired dishes and American classics such as fresh pasta, homemade pizza and ribs as well as their best-selling New York style cheesecake.
The dining space is flexible and informal with a range of high and low tables and booths to suit everyone, be it a working lunch or relaxed group meal.
Marco’s New York Italian concept is inspired by his Italian heritage and love for New York, which promises high quality family-friendly food at reasonable prices.
The new open lobby area transforms how guests eat, drink, work, meet and socialise by providing one cohesive space to fit individual lifestyles. The redesigned space merges the reception, lounge, bar and restaurant to create one relaxed and multi-faceted area with no barriers, so that guests can blend work and leisure instinctively.
Earlier this year LGH Hotels Management Ltd, who own and manage a portfolio of Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotels across the UK, announced a multi-million-pound refurbishment plan across their properties, starting with the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes – Central.
The open lobby concept is unique to the Holiday Inn brand and will be extended to properties across Europe to become a brand-defining feature.
The Holiday Inn Milton Keynes – Central, located in the heart of the town’s business and shopping district, features a Health Club with an indoor pool, large conference facilities and a new Marco Pierre White restaurant.
