Hollywood Bowl Group, one of the UK’s leading leisure operators, has completed its eighth investment project of 2018 with the £450,000 rebrand and redevelopment of the former Bowlplex on Aspects Leisure Park, Bristol.
Steve Burns, CEO, Hollywood Bowl Group, said: “The rebranding of our Longwell Green centre marks the eighth investment project of 2018 and completes our conversion of the Bowlplex estate into all-new Hollywood Bowls. After the successful refurbishment of our Cribbs Causeway centre, this latest investment is further proof of our commitment to bringing industry-leading entertainment venues to the city of Bristol.
“This is an exciting time for our Longwell Green centre and we’re looking forward to showcasing the upgraded look and feel of our ‘new generation’ Hollywood Bowl to customers, both old and new.”
The 24-lane centre has been fully re-designed and now features plush new furnishings, contemporary American décor and upgraded music and lighting technology.
With a brand-new Hollywood Diner, the company has upgraded its food and drink offering. Gourmet burgers, hot dogs, freshly made thick shakes served in retro milk bottles and signature desserts now feature on the newly-developed menu, as well as speciality house cocktails served from a new American-style bar.
In addition, the centre’s amusement area has been completely revamped and now boasts industry leading games such as Jurassic Park, Grand Piano and retro games like Space Invaders and Crossy Road.
