glh Hotels have announced that they will be supporting Room to Reward as their chosen charity initiative.
Room to Reward is a unique charity, created to say thank you to some of the most inspirational staff and volunteers who make a personal sacrifice and have a positive effect on people’s lives every day.
To support the scheme, glh Hotels will show what great London hospitality really is, by donating rooms across their 17 hotels. The charity’s partners such as The National Autistic Society, Hospice UK and Volunteering Matters, will then get the opportunity to nominate their ‘hidden heroes’ for a surprise hotel break.
Neil Gallagher, chief executive of glh Hotels, said: “glh Hotels are delighted to support Room to Reward as our chosen charity initiative. All too often, it is individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support others, but get little recognition or reward. We all benefit from the hard work and dedication of these hidden heroes, and we’d like to personally contribute toward thanking them, by offering our hotels and services as part of the Room to Reward programme.”
Adam Terpening – Charity Director of Room To Reward, said: “We are delighted to have the support of glh Hotels. Room to Reward is completely dependent on the generosity of our hotel partners to be able to give something back and make a little difference to those who make such a big difference to others. Having the support of a high-profile and well-respected hotel group like glh Hotels is fantastic.”
