BLESS Collection Hotels, the new luxury brand from Palladium Hotel Group set to open its first property in January 2019, has revealed the inclusion of BLESS Hotel Madrid in The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd (Leading Hotels), a collection of independent, luxury hotels.
With a nine-decade-long commitment to providing remarkably uncommon travel experiences, Leading Hotels only selects members that meet its high standards for quality and distinctiveness. The result is a curated portfolio of hotels united not by what makes them the same, but the details that make them different. The distinguished collection selected BLESS Hotel Madrid based on factors such as the philosophy behind the brand, its attention to innovative art and design and its innovative hedonistic approach to luxury.
“The Leading Hotels of the World is delighted to welcome BLESS Hotel Madrid to our collection of distinguished properties,” said Deniz Omurgonulsen, Vice President, Membership, The Leading Hotels of the World. “We are excited to further expand our portfolio of Spanish properties with BLESS Hotel Madrid’s inclusion and opening coming soon in January 2019. We believe the hotel’s unique style, world-class cuisine, and impeccable personalized service will be embraced by Leading Hotels’ curious travelers.”
Located on Calle de Velázquez in one of the capital’s most exclusive quarters, BLESS Hotel Madrid has been built around and recognised for the concept of Hedonistic Luxury, to which BLESS Collection Hotels is pioneer. In its own words, “BLESS Collection Hotels worship the pursuit of happiness and the good life”. BLESS Collection Hotels will offer original and innovative services and features that allow guests to experience “the best of living”. BLESS Hotel Madrid, will also present a non-stop programme of inspirational entertainment drawing on the destination’s cultural agenda – from art and culture to fashion and gastronomy. These experiences will range from live music, fashion shows, pop-ups, performances, visual art and photography exhibitions.
One of the exclusive guest experiences is BLESSEDBED, which will allow guests to personalise their moments of rest through a menu of pillows including options such as goose feather, latex and viscoelastic, and a menu of bed linen made from 450 thread Egyptian cotton, linen or silk, among other fabrics.
A flagship experience offered by the new brand is BATHOLOGY, a new concept whereby a personal butler will guide the guest through an exclusive bathing experience created to achieve physical, mental and spiritual benefits. Guests will select their daily choice of special soaps and bath salts based on their mood and requirements, choosing from aromas such as lavender, chamomile and rosemary.
In addition, the renowned designer and architect Lázaro Rosa-Violan was brought in to create the hotel with a quintessentially Madrilenian character with a contemporary slant. Key design features will include ‘sensory architecture’ that will define the hotel ambience, collaborative work spaces and social areas.
