Hancock’s, the family owned, Rochester based restaurant group, announces that three new outlets will be unveiled during Q4, effectively doubling the chain’s estate.
The American Kitchen and Bar concept opened its first outlet in Chatham in July 2017, showcasing the eclectic mix of popular classic and contemporary stateside dishes including, amongst other things, Gumbo, Fajitas, ’Dirty Dogs’ and on-site smoked Chicken and Ribs. Over the course of the past three months, two further restaurants have been successfully launched in Camberley and Maidstone, and all outlets are trading well ahead of expectation.
Now, further sites in Farnborough, Fareham and Eastleigh, each extending to between 3000 to 4000 sq ft with seating for up to 150 guests, have been secured and are scheduled to open over the course of the next three months.
David Chick, Director of Hancock’s notes;
“Initially, our objective was to end the year with four sites across the South East, however, as the brand has grown, so has the opportunity for expansion. The fact that our stateside inspired, value for money concept has proven its ability to appeal to practically every demographic gives us the confidence to think bigger.”
Hancock’s is currently assessing the viability of a number of other potential sites across the country and anticipates further openings will be announced early in the new year.
