Dedicated events showing the benefits of food preparation in the SelfCookingCenter®
Rational are running dedicated vegetarian and vegan September events in the south of England.
At each event, a professional Rational chef will demonstrate an array of exciting and innovative vegetarian and vegan dishes, include whole roast spiced celeriac with pomegranate and parsley, vegan fish and chips (breaded tofu wrapped in seaweed), grilled courgette ribbons with sriracha marinade, bbq jack fruit and much more. In addition, participants will learn about the benefits of Rational accessories and applications.
Mike Williams, Regional Sales Director, Rational UK comments “the Rational combi oven provides consistently high quality results. The powerful hygienic fresh steam generator combined with patented dynamic air mixing matches the air flow and humidity to the cooking level of the product, producing the perfect cooking result whilst significantly reducing times. This feature ensures no flavour transfer when cooking sensitive products at the same time. As the food is always gently cooked in the ideal climate, taste and colour are intensified, whilst ensuring maximum preservation of vitamins and minerals.“ Williams continues, “offering healthy eating vegetarian and vegan dishes on your menu creates an opportunity to generate new customers.“
The demand for meat and milk alternatives is rising as an increasing number of people are avoiding animal products when eating out. In many major cities, the number of vegetarian and vegan restaurants has more than doubled in the last five years. But even classic hospitality industry establishments and industry catering can benefit from the trend in meat-free diets and acquire additional customers.
There are three vegetarian and vegan events taking place on the 25th September. They are free to attend, however places are limited. The events are taking place at the following venues: Exeter City AFC; Rational, Luton and East Horton Golf Club.
