UK alcohol-free drinks festival coming to London at the end of July

July 22, 2018

Club Soda, the mindful drinking movement, is once again holding the only festival in the world for the sober curious this summer.

Launching on the 28th July at Spitalfields Market, the festival will give guests/attendees the opportunity to taste the new wave of alcohol-free drinks hitting the market. These include seven new alcohol-free spirits, nine alcohol-free beers and a host of drinks invented by radical alchemists, such as kombuchas, shrubs and elixirs.

Fever-Tree, the UK‘s number one premium mixer brand, will be hosting two masterclasses on the day educating consumers on their range and how well they complement the seven new alcohol-free spirits which have recently joined the market. These include Ceders: a distilled non-alcoholic alt-gin made, a mix of exotic South African and classic gin botanicals. Guests will be given a session on how to create the perfect, alcohol-free serve as well as giving people an opportunity to sample these new and exciting products.

Ben Williams, Fever-Tree National Account Manager says ‘This is an extremely fast growing area of the industry and there is huge demand from consumers of both bars and restaurants for better a range and quality of soft drink offer and a more adult experience for those people who choose not to drink. Club Soda are engaging the right people in the right ways and positively promoting the idea of mindful drinking so it’s something we are excited to be involved in.’

The Mindful Drinking Festival is expected to attract over 10,000 fans, from foodies and fitness fanatics to mums-to-be. The festival meets a growing curiosity for healthier low and no-alcohol cocktails and drink alternatives. The Club Soda Mindful Drinking Festival is hosted by Spitalfields Market on Saturday 28th July from 11am to 6pm.
