Joanna Morgan a former theatre producer left her position with the celebrated Royal Shakespeare Company to make preserves, she has now been crowned the world’s best marmalade maker.
The Radnor Preserves journey is progressing nicely enjoying the sweet taste of success after winning a record-breaking three gold medals at the World’s Original Marmalade Awards, and a contract to supply Fortnum & Mason.
Radnor Preserves’ next stop is at H&C EXPO on Tuesday 17th July where Joanna will be presenting in the H&C EXPO Innovation Den. Joanna will be presenting to Jon Williams, Group Purchasing Director, CH&CO and other members of the Innovation Den procurement team.
Just like at World’s Original Marmalade Awards once again the opportunity is to walk away with a contract to supply CH&CO.
The Radnor Preserves journey started when Joanna walked away from her fast-paced theatreland lifestyle to move into a cottage with no electricity in Caersws, Powys where she learned how to make preserves using foraged fruit and vegetables.
Morgan said: “Radnor Preserves is delighted to have been selected for the H&C Expo Innovation Den. It is an amazing opportunity to meet some of the key figures in the industry and we look forward to showcasing our innovative flavours. The bonus being it’s on home soil as it’s happening in Wales!”
After picking up the World’s Original Marmalade Award it looks like the Radnor Preserves journey is set on a course of success.
