A new revenue and reservations manager has been appointed at Bristol’s leading four-star hotel.
Alison Firth has now joined the team at DoubleTree by Hilton, Bristol City Centre on Redcliffe Way where she will oversee the day-to-day booking of rooms targeting in particular corporate business looking for quality accommodation when visiting the city on business.
Originally from Cornwall, Alison has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality sector having initially trained at Plymouth Catering College where she qualified as a chef.
More recently Alison has worked across a number of venues in Bath including the Limpley Stoke Hotel, Redcar Hotel and Hilton where she was group supervisor for six venues.
She also worked for two years at the Bath Spa as events manager before working on the opening of the brand new Apex Hotel in Bath city centre.
Having the missed the thrill of the sale, Alison is now looking forward to consolidating the hotel’s standing as one of the leading hotels in Bristol.
Alison said: “It’s great to be back in a sales led environment and I’ll be focusing a lot of my time on developing the customer service side of our offer.
