Westminster Venue Collection, which features 33 members all based in London’s iconic City of Westminster, has appointed Jeremy Warrillow to its board of directors.
The head of business development for the hospitality business at 116 Pall Mall will focus on developing supplier partnerships to bring added value to the members, which features fashionable townhouses and private members’ clubs, luxury hotels, celebrated attractions, historic institutes and societies.
Jeremy has been involved in the hospitality industry for over twenty years. Since joining 116 Pall Mall in September 2017, he has been overseeing a redesign of the brand to promote the commercial operation of the building. The magnificently restored Grade 1-listed building is one of the most popular business venues in the capital, with thousands of IoD members visiting the premises weekly to work, meet and network.
Jeremy started his career with The Admirable Crichton, planning events for clients across the UK and Europe. He has lead teams across a number of notable London attractions such as Searcys, Barbican and the British Museum. Later, Jeremy went on to strengthen his hospitality expertise at Benugo, running the caterer’s hospitality arm, including the event catering business Clerkenwell Green.
Speaking of his appointment, Jeremy said: “The Westminster Venue collection is an extremely valuable tool for both time-pressed event professionals to directly reach 33 venues with their enquiry, and allowing venues to share referrals, expertise and knowledge amongst themselves for everyone’s benefit.”
Westminster Venue Collection chair and QEII sales and marketing director, Diane Waldron, said: “We are extremely excited to welcome Jeremy to the collection’s board of directors, he brings a wealth of experience and passion for the industry. As a board, we work hard to ensure our venues get the most out of their membership with us and Jeremy will be a valuable addition to this.”
