Monday 21st May will be a very special date on the Welsh culinary calendar as chef James Sommerin invites diners to experience a unique feast featuring the finest locally-inspired gastronomic fare prepared by James and four other of his Michelin-starred Welsh colleagues.
Joining forces with James at Restaurant James Sommerin in Penarth will be a formidable line-up comprising fellow chef patrons Bryan Webb (Tyddyn Llan in Llandrillo); Stéphane Borie (Checkers in Montgomery); Shaun Hill (The Walnut Tree near Abergavenny) and Stephen Stevens (Sosban & The Old Butchers Restaurant, Menai Bridge), who will each prepare one course and a canapé.
James’ daughter, Georgia Sommerin, who works in the kitchen alongside her father, will also be treating guests to a course. The result will be a six-course sociable event where guests will be seated with other diners.
