Inspired by the arrival of spring weather, and looking for somewhere different to host your next meeting? Head to New Place Hotel where their newly refurbished Treehouse meeting space is perfectly equipped for board room meetings, presentations, and small events. Nestled in the rich woodland that makes up part of the 32 acres of landscaped grounds, including a woodland trail, the Treehouse space is ideal for breathing fresh air in to meetings – literally.
Taking inspiration from the recent wellness and mindfulness movement, New Place Hotel has set up the Treehouse as a technology free zone, allowing attendees to fully focus on the topics at hand with no distractions thanks to a deliberate absence of Wi-Fi or AV. The team have taken the space back to basics with electricity, heating and furniture being the only inclusions and giving a blank canvas thinking space for creativity to blossom. Catering is available with a range of delectable choices to fuel minds through a planning session in to the afternoon.
The Treehouse refurbishment has been part of the £1.3 million programme to refurbish and update 110 bedrooms to complement the beautiful surroundings of the hotel with further refurbishments and development planned for the estate.
General manager, Richard Powell commented, “New Place is continuously striving to be at the cutting edge of impactful conferencing. The Treehouse, with its alternative and creative approach, is yet another example of how New Place will inspire the minds and invigorate the performance of any business we welcome here.”
Situated in the beautiful English countryside only 12 miles from Portsmouth, and 11 miles from Southampton city centre, the Grade I listed manor house is home to a restaurant, bar and meeting rooms with accommodation just a short walk in a lovely mews surrounded by the stunning grounds.
