Stoke Place Hotel is announcing the appointment of new Head Chef David Jaram.
Stoke Place is a stylish and relaxed four star hotel built in 1690 by Patrick Lamb who was a chef for the Kings and Queens of England including Charles II, James II, Mary and Queen Anne. The Hotel and Estate has a strong history of cuisine which continues to this day as the hotel is Highly Recommended on the Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide.
David Jaram joins Stoke Place from his position as Head Chef at Country House Hotel Great Fosters, which holds 3 AA rosettes and a Michelin Star for its food. Jaram has an outstanding background in award-winning country house hotels and restaurants, having headed up the kitchen teams at, Fishmore Hall near Ludlow in Shropshire where he gained 3 AA rosettes for the quality & style of his cooking. He has also worked at The Greenway in Gloucestershire, Nunsmere Hall, and The Close at Tetbury.
Jaram will be responsible for all aspects of the food operations at Stoke Place, as well as being heavily involved in the reinvigoration of the estate’s Victorian Kitchen Gardens.
