Bohemia, the only Michelin starred restaurant in the Channel Islands, celebrates its 15th Anniversary today.
The award-winning restaurant opened in 2003 and has since gone from strength to strength. Bohemia has been an island-favourite for the last 15 years, as well as holding a Michelin star consecutively for the past 13 years, a Channel Island record.
Michelin Starred Steve Smith joined the kitchen as Head Chef in January 2013 and he has lead Bohemia to a multitude of new successes, not only retaining Bohemia’s Michelin Star, but also gaining Jersey’s first and only 5AA Rosettes rating. .
Bohemia was also ranked as the highest scoring restaurant in the Channel Islands in the Good Food Guide 2018 with a glowing score of 8, as well as being listed overall as the 11th best restaurant in the whole of the UK in the Waitrose guide.
Having had such a successful few years, Bohemia now outranks some of the world’s most famous restaurants, cementing its place on the international culinary map. Bohemia’s Head Chef Steve Smith is the Island’s most celebrated chef; he has won a Michelin Star five times and has held a Michelin star for over 20 years. Bohemia is currently the only Michelin starred restaurant in the Channel Islands. It is also the only restaurant in the Channel Islands to hold five AA rosettes and has been ranked as the 11th best restaurant in the whole of the UK by the Good Food Guide 2018.
