The team at the booking engine provider were presented with the Best Use of Technology accolade at the 2018 Serviced Apartment Awards in London.
Avvio was catapulted into the limelight last year after launching the world’s first booking engine powered through the use of artificial intelligence, Allora.
Frank Reeves, Avvio Co-founder and CEO, picked up the award at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel on 19 March.
Frank said: “It was fantastic to collect the award for Best Use of Technology, and is great recognition of the dedication of the entire Avvio team for creating the world’s first AI booking engine, a development process that took almost 18 months.
“At Avvio, we are always innovating to find the best in new technology to help serviced apartments, hotels and other accommodation providers win direct bookings.”
Avvio won the award for its innovative technology, which puts their booking platform at the top of its field for innovating the market.
Frank also presented the award for Best Short-term Rental Platform or Operator.
The Avvio team hosted guests from their industry partners such as Cheval Residences, Roomzzz, SACO and HotelPartner.
