‘Trim & Tonic’ barbershop pop-up and ‘St. Patrick’s Soirée’

February 28, 2018

Prestigious, Irish family owned venue, The Bloomsbury Club Bar has partnered with Irish artisan distillers, The Dingle Distillery, to present a sophisticated St. Patrick’s Day celebration featuring a walk-in ‘Trim and Tonic’ barbershop pop-up and ‘St. Patrick’s Soirée’ this March.

St. Patrick’s Day ‘Trim & Tonic’

And, in keeping with the elegantly Irish celebrations, The Bloomsbury Club Bar has invited the world’s oldest barbershop; Truefitt & Hill to host its ‘Trim & Tonic’ pop up. Throughout St. Patrick’s Day, from 10am-4pm, the pop up barbershop will be grooming men for greatness, providing gents with a hot towel shave and complimentary Dingle Original Gin & Tonic to get them looking dapper ahead of the evening’s sophisticated shenanigans.

Irish. Sláinte! ‘St. Patrick’s Soirée’

Promising guests a refined experience of the Emerald Isle – the immersive all night celebration brings the craic to the capital with live acoustic Irish music, a specially curated food menu and bespoke cocktails, inspired by the bar and distillery’s Irish heritage.

Bar Manager, Brian Calleja has created a cocktail menu based on the three Dingle Distillery artisan spirits, highlights of which include ‘Italian Craic’ (Dingle Distillery Vodka, Italicus, Pink Grapefruit Mist, Prosecco) and the ‘The Founding Fathers’ (Dingle Original Gin, Elixir Combier, Maraschino Liqueur, Orange bitters, Peychaud’s Bitters, Barrel Aged) The bespoke cocktails menu will be served alongside stouts and Dublin pale ales from independent Irish craft brewer, Porterhouse Brewing Company, including a new limited edition release, Porterhouse Bounty Hunter brewed specially for the occasion.

Executive Chef at The Bloomsbury, Byron Moussouris has created an authentic Irish Club Bites Menu inspired by The Dingle Distillery’s location on the Wild Atlantic Way to fuel the celebrations.
