Marco Pierre White has paid a visit to his Italian restaurant in North Somerset to check on the launch of a brand new menu.
The iconic chef met with visitors and checked in with his kitchen staff during a visit to the Bardolino Pizzeria, Bellini and Espresso Bar at theclubandspa, Cadbury House in Congresbury.
During the visit Marco also checked up on his Steakhouse Bar and Grill, also within Cadbury House, where he signed copies of his cookbook for guests.
The new-look Bardolino menu is still focused around Marco’s ethos of casual, authentic and affordable Italian dining, while brand new set-price lunch and early dinner menus have been added following customer feedback.
Pizza and pasta is still the focus of the restaurant, with burgers – such as the BBQ glazed beef burger with pancetta bacon and blue cheese – and salads – including the roast chicken and avocado Caesar also making a big impression. Al Forno pasta dishes are a particular hit with customers and the stone baked pizzas feature a selection of the best Italian inspired toppings.
Along with the new-look main meals, the much-loved Bardolino brunch has also had a makeover. From avocado and pancetta bacon to tuscan sausages and baked cannellini beans, all breakfast items are served on toast and available until 5pm.
Bardolino manager, Murray Whittington, said: “We’re so excited about the new menu at Bardolino, it features all the old favourites and there are some showstopping new dishes to try. Our new lunch and dinner set menus are fantastic value for our customers and start from as little as £10.95 for two courses.
Mimmo Pomo, manager of the MPW Steakhouse Bar & Grill, said: “It was fantastic as always to have Marco with us. He was delightful with the guests and spent time with the kitchen team to make sure everything was running smoothly.”
