Emirates Old Trafford will open the doors to a new Caffè Nero on Friday 9 February at 7am.
The coffee house, which directly links the stadium, Hilton Garden Inn hotel and Brian Statham Way, will serve customers with a range of award-winning food and beverages.
The project stands at 170m2, and once inside, customers will benefit from the usual warm Caffè Nero welcome, plenty of seating to enjoy the traditional Italian espresso based drinks and a range of food, including pastries baked fresh in store, delicious lunch options and indulgent cakes.
Emirates Old Trafford’s latest addition follows on from a string of redevelopment projects, including the new four star Hilton Garden Inn, which opened in September 2017.
Lancashire Cricket CEO, Daniel Gidney, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Caffè Nero to Emirates Old Trafford and are excited to begin this new journey with them.
“The Club has been passionate about creating an all-encompassing space for sport, business and leisure for many years, and today’s announcement feels like a perfect addition to our venue – there’s everything you could need on site.
“The new Caffè Nero sits next door to our Hilton Garden Inn and will benefit everyone from hotel and business guests, to cricket and football supporters and commuters to the Old Trafford area – we’re looking forward to giving them all a warm welcome inside.”
Caffè Nero’s Head of Marketing, Marcus Denison-Smith, said: “Manchester was the first city outside London where Caffè Nero opened, so we’re really excited to extend our relationship with the city by working with Lancashire Cricket Club to serve its members, staff and general public visiting this historic, but modernised ground.”
