Beach House Restaurant, which was recently named AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales, has announced that 2 Michelin Starred Chef Daniel Clifford of Midsummer House will be joining Beach House for a special evening on St David’s Day, Thursday 1st March. This special evening is part of an exciting series of Guest Chef Nights over the coming year bringing a host of famed Chefs to the Gower peninsular.
Chef Patron Daniel Clifford opened Midsummer House in Cambridge 20 years ago and has since won a series of accolades gaining widespread acclaim and cementing his reputation as one of the best chefs in Britain. More recently Daniel is also well known for his regular appearances as a judge on the BBC’s Great British Menu, having won the series with his main course in 2012 and dessert in 2013.
The evening, which is already sold out will include a collaborative tasting menu created by Daniel Clifford and Beach House Head Chef Hywel Griffith, where guests will enjoy the 6 course tasting menu which will be introduced by the Chefs.
Ryan Simpson from 3 AA rosette restaurant Orwells and who has recently appeared on Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen is also scheduled to visit Beach House in the Autumn, with more details to be announced soon. This will follow a visit in April whereby Hywel Griffith will be travelling to Orwells in Henley on Thames to run a Guest Chef evening, representing Beach House.
