Since opening its doors nearly two years ago, Park Regis Birmingham has established itself as a key member of the city’s business and charity communities.
The prestigious four-star hotel has partnered with more than 30 organisations and network groups since March 2016, and has raised in excess of £100,000 for local charities during that time.
Mark Payne, General Manager at Park Regis Birmingham, said: “From day one we have always been passionate about working with and getting to know key businesses and influencers in the city; be it a corporate partner or a local charity. We are especially proud of the amount of money we have raised in the short time we’ve been open – it is a great indicator of just how passionate we are about supporting worthwhile local causes.”
Park Regis Birmingham has chosen Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice as its charity partner for 2017/2018, helping the Hospice to continue its work providing vital care and support to local families living with terminal illness across Birmingham and Sandwell.
The hotel is also a keen fundraiser for national charity Sense – which provides support services for children, young people and adults living with sight and hearing impairment – and in 2017 it was the main sponsor for Vélo Birmingham, a 100-mile closed road sportive in the centre of the city.
Meanwhile, in August last year, Park Regis became a patron of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) – the region’s largest business support network.
“The Chamber is the voice of Birmingham’s professional community and since joining we have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic people from various sectors in the city,” continued Mark. “That’s the beauty of networking and staying connected – you build great relationships with key players which enables you to continue learning and growing as a business.”
Among other partnerships, Park Regis is proudly affiliated with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and the Birmingham Hippodrome theatre – for which it will be sponsoring the multi-award winning production of ‘Matilda The Musical’ this year.
Not forgetting, the hotel has also recently joined forces with Birmingham Updates to offer MyBull keyring holders exclusive offers – including 20% off food in 1565’ Restaurant, Bar and Terrace and 10% off accommodation.
