London’s leading healthy eating chain Abokado will once again be supporting people who are homeless by donating 100% of the proceeds from all of its hot drink sales this Friday 15th December.
This will be the ninth year that Abokado has partnered with homelessness charity, St Mungo’s at Christmas to raise funds to support their work.
The fundraising initiative will take place across all 24 branches of Abokado from 7am until 8pm, with collection buckets on hand for customers to also make a voluntary donation if they choose.
Abokado’s director Mark Lilley said: “This is our ninth year supporting St Mungo’s at Christmas and we are proud to be continuing this incredibly worthwhile tradition. With temperatures having dropped below freezing over the past few days never are people who are homeless more in our hearts and minds. I’m deeply humbled by how much our teams and customers get behind this fun charity event to support St Mungo’s excellent work. I’m sure Friday will prove to be yet another hit.”
Lizzi Hollis-Butcher, Corporate Partnerships Manager, said: “Abokado has been a great supporter of St Mungo’s over the past nine years We are truly grateful for the thousands of pounds that their fundraising days have raised and thank them and their customers for their amazing support, which goes to help make a difference to many people’s lives.”
