Mehreen Ayub, a former apprentice and now a junior consultant with Admiral Recruitment, has won the Retail, Hospitality & Tourism Apprentice category of The Asian Apprenticeship Awards 2017.
The awards recognise and celebrate the superb level of talent within the British Asian community and the support they receive from their employers and learning providers.
This year’s awards attracted 200 entries and the winners were announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 2nd November 2017 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.
18-year-old Mehreen has been an apprentice with Admiral Recruitment for over a year, during which time she worked in various departments including temporary recruitment, permanent recruitment and the finance department, as well as helping out as a PA and covering reception duties.
She is now a junior consultant with Admiral Recruitment’s commercial (temporary) recruitment team, specialising in placements within the hospitality sector.
