Rational UK have recently doubled the capacity of their head office in Luton, including a new Centre of Excellence for training. They celebrated the expansion by holding an open day event at their premises, on Thursday 5th October.

We have invested in a new purpose-built facility, providing a fantastic Centre of Excellence to accommodate both dealers, service partners, customers and sales team training at our Luton premises. It is a very exciting time for us as we further continue our commitment to all stakeholders, helping to maximise their business opportunities, of which training plays an integral role.”
Dealers, service partners, customers, planners and consultants attending the open day were invited to view the new facilities. Visitors also had the opportunity to attend masterclasses and informative cooking demonstrations.
Claire Clark MBE, Pretty Sweet held a petit four masterclass, presenting delicious, and tempting petit fours prepared in both the SelfCookingCenter and the VarioCooking Center. Alan Bird‘s smoking masterclass demonstrated food prepared using the VarioSmoker, in the SelfCookingCenter. Alan presented a selection of food, including salmon and scallops. The Rational professional chefs presented a variety of applications, including finishing, sous vide, breakfast and a la carte menus. They also demonstrated the latest Rational technology innovation ConnectedCooking 2.0.
The expansion includes a purpose built development kitchen – including a cafė concept, a training kitchen and service workshop. There is a range of Rational and Frima units of various specifications, allowing hands-on training. The new training rooms have full presentation facilities.
