The 120-guest bedroom Moxy Amsterdam Houthavens, set to open in 2018, has been shortlisted for ‘Best Future Project Under Construction’. Combined with a 60-suite Residence Inn, this hotel will be part of a dual-branded concept, the first for Cycas to open in Europe.
Nominated for ‘Hotelier of the Year’, Steven Cowie, General Manager of Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites in London – Stratford City – managed by Cycas Hospitality, has been recognised for leading this dual-branded hotel to success.
Wayne Androliakos, Vice President of Operations for Cycas Hospitality, said: “This is great recognition for existing and future dual-branded hotels. Our project in Amsterdam will be our first dual-branded hotel in continental Europe and it is exciting to be recognised for our efforts to meet the demands of the travelling millennial.”
Ingrid van Veen, Vice President of Operations for Cycas Hospitality, said: “Steven’s enthusiasm and commitment to both brands is truly unsurpassed. He is a credit to the Cycas team and deserves recognition for his role in making these hotels stand apart from the rest.”
