Starboard Hotels are thrilled to announce that industry guru’s Robert Crook, former Managing Director of Interstate Hotels and Resorts, John Kilty, previously Director of Allied Irish Banks UKl and Brian Harrigan, previously with the Metropolitan Police policy division, have agreed to join the company as non-executive members of the Board.
Managing Director Paul Callingham alongside Operations Director Kerian Barnes and Finance Director Jon Baker, continue to lead the company through an impressive growth strategy, having acquired 10 hotels within the last three years. Starboard is on course for further expansion after revealing plans this summer for the development of a 146-bed Hampton by Hilton hotel at Park Royal in London, which, added to the existing portfolio will provide 1,428 rooms over 14 hotels. The group are also midway through a portfolio refurbishment programme, which will see over 900 bedrooms refurbished over an 18 month period.
Announcing the appointments, Paul Callingham said: “We are delighted that Robert, John and Brian have agreed to join the team, their presence will provide immense strength and further governance to our Board, bringing their unrivalled wealth of experience and industry knowledge.”
