Steven Houghton, Guest Relations Manager at Hotel Indigo York, is one of 21 cyclists to complete a two-day 140-mile bicycle ride through the Yorkshire Dales, in aid of the IHG Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation working to achieve long lasting benefits for communities all around the world.
Mike Sweeting, General Manager at Hotel Indigo York said: “We are all incredibly proud of Steven for completing this impressive challenge. Steven only recently joined our team so it’s great to see him getting stuck in, helping to raise money for a worthy cause. He definitely deserves a pint or two for his efforts!”
The group of cyclists tackled the 140-mile epic bicycle challenge, starting in Leeds, going up the Yorkshire dales to Harrogate and then across to finish in York.
The IHG Foundation focuses its activities on four key areas – helping communities to develop skills in hospitality, providing support for those impacted by disasters, facilitating local community investment and protecting the environment.
