Acclaimed Notting Hill café Farm Girl has arrived in Soho with the launch of a concession in the new Sweaty Betty European flagship store at No.1 Carnaby Street.
Now open, London’s holistic and healthy Australian-inspired café has brought a love of fresh, nutritional ingredients to the new Sweaty Betty three-storey concept store, which offers fashion, fitness, food and beauty all under one roof. Located on the first floor, Farm Girl are providing the best breakfast and lunch bowls in town, designed for a post-workout, shopping refuel, or lunchtime pitstop. Signature serves include build-your-own breakfast bowls, gluten-free doughnuts and for the first-time at Farm Girl, a cocktail bar featuring superfood ingredients.
Diners can choose to design their own breakfast, lunch and smoothie bowls, from bases of frozen dragonfruit, buckwheat and coconut yoghurt, with buzz supplements of aloe vera, bee pollen, activated charcoal and spirulina, and toppings of goji berries, date syrup and samphire. For those in a rush, there’s a ‘Can’t be bothered menu’, with every dish packed with beneficial, natural antioxidants, including signature Smoothie Bowls such as their ACAI bowl (Amazonian acai, frozen banana, almond milk, spinach, goji berries) and SAL Salad (kale, cucumber, avocado, mango, kimchi, salmon, sesame). Serving food all-day, there is also a selection of toasts, salads, and the legendary Coconut BLT. Dessert comes in the form of Farm Girl’s signature gluten-free doughnut line.
Farm Girl’s celebrated Super Lattes (which dominate their popular 40K+ strong Instagram feed) are also available, including their Butterfly Matcha (made from Matcha.Blue), Liquid Gold (Turmeric, Cinnamon, Astragalus, Honey and Coconut Milk) and Rose Latte ready enjoy in-store or for grab-and-go. Organic cold pressed juice brand CPress is also on offer, making Farm Girl one of two exclusive stockists in London.
Brand-new to Farm Girl, the Soho café have ventured into the world of cocktails with their first ever bar open daily until 7.30pm. Alcoholic drinks using strawberry, acai and lavender infused FAIR Vodka, include the R cocktail (strawberry juice, FAIR vodka, lemon, bitters) and the P Cocktail (Pomegranate, prosecco, FAIR. Acai, soda). Other drinks include biodynamic wines and Hoila Apple cider.
Farm Girl is the creation of Rose Mann and Anthony Hood who aim to share their passion for a healthy lifestyle and travel with their guests. Rose’s love of the outdoors comes from a childhood spent on a farm outside Melbourne, whilst Anthony grew up with the fresh mountain air of Switzerland. Menus are created by Executive Chef Benoit Marmoiton whose experience ranges from cooking at Michelin starred restaurants across Paris and London, to private cheffing for high profile individuals. The launch of the brand new Sweaty Betty café in Soho is the first step in Farm Girl’s expansion plans, with Rose and Anthony set to open their first standalone restaurant in late 2017.
