The award-winning Halston Aparthotel in Carlisle have launched six brand-new contemporary townhouses in the city centre.
Just 50 meters from The Halston Aparthotel on Warwick Road, Carlisle, in a former Lloyds Pharmacy building the Halston team have converted the upper levels into six self-contained, serviced apartments to the same luxury standard as The Halston Aparthotel, winner of the Self-Catering Provider of the Year award at this year’s Cumbria Tourism awards.
Dominique Harrison, Co-Owner of The Halston says: “The townhouses are a continuation of the quality guests have come to expect from The Halston as well as an opportunity for more businesses and visitors coming to Carlisle to have a luxury experience. Each Townhouse has been individually furnished to ensure comfort for guests staying one night, a week or a month.”
Each apartment is finished with little touches to make guests’ stay even more comfortable, from relaxing dressing gowns, to Cumbrian made natural toiletries. With a 24 hour reception and their own bar and restaurant, The Halston’s well equipped, new Townhouses have all the luxuries of a hotel.
The Townhouses offer serviced apartments for short or long term, business or leisure travel and their central location, only a five-minute walk from Carlisle train station, make them a great base to call home whilst you discover the historic and cultural city.
The opening comes after extensive work on the building and later this summer the ground floor will become home to Yellowjackets a new bar from the team behind The Lane Bar (Fisher Street, Carlisle)
In the Autumn, The Halston also plan to rebrand and reopen the former Belted restaurant, also on Warwick Road and there are plans to redevelop the site of the former Lonsdale Cinema too, to further expand Carlisle’s contemporary, city centre offering.
As well as accommodation, The Halston has its own bistro Barton’s Yard, several multi-use spaces for events, ceremonies and conferences, Winters Spa and is a fully licenced wedding venue.
