The esteemed London based caterer was approached to supply a selection of high-end canapes for ITV’s popular, ‘This Morning’ television show which saw the breakfast show host its second live wedding. The couple, Sonya Keating and Paul Brough married atop the Shard’s famous ‘View from The Shard’ platform, making this the first wedding held at the venue’s viewing platform, Level 72.
The wedding saw a total of 55 guests in attendance with Seasoned, the preferred wedding caterer at the venue, providing an 8 bite cold canape selection comprising of Serrano ham & lemon thyme chicken pops, ham hock with pea puree on toast, rare roast beef with Yorkshire pudding & horseradish cream, harissa spiced confit chicken, ginger and lemongrass king prawn & piquillo pepper pipette, smoked salmon blini with soft cheese & keta petals, beetroot glazed goats cheese bon bon lollies in a toasted nut dip dab bowl, Virgin Mary Jelly, feta crumble & black olive popcorn in a savory cone.
The couple, who have been together for nearly 20 years have been unable to wed due to financial constraints and Paul’s multiple sclerosis, but were lucky enough to win This Morning’s competition. The lucky couple were joined by many famous faces from the ITV roster including both hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby alongside This Morning regulars such as Rylan Clark-Neal, Alison Hammond, Alice Beer and Dr Raj Singh.
