The UK’s largest tenpin bowling operator, Hollywood Bowl Group, has invested £300,000 in the refurbishment and rebrand of AMF Ashford, continuing the momentum on its extensive investment program.
Completed on 14th July – just in time for the busy summer holiday trading period, the centre remained open for the duration of the project and celebrated its brand-new look with a VIP event on the 25th July, when it officially relaunched as a Hollywood Bowl.
Steve Burns, CEO, Hollywood Bowl Group said: “The transformation of AMF Ashford into a Hollywood Bowl represents our ninth major investment this year, which has also included brand new centres at The O2 and Intu Derby, and our ongoing Bowlplex rebrand programme.
“The centre has undergone huge changes and looks completely different! We are extremely happy with the excellent customer reaction we’ve received so far.”
The newly rebranded Hollywood Bowl Ashford is a ‘new generation’ Hollywood Bowl, including 18 pre-bookable, fully computerised lanes with plush seating, four exclusive VIP lanes, a new ‘Hollywood Diner’ concept and upgraded bar, with new décor celebrating all things American.
Visitors can enjoy freshly-made American classics, including gourmet burgers and dogs, as well as shakes and signature desserts.
The centre’s impressive amusement offer has also been part of the transformation with the latest industry leading games installed into a new look amusements area.
The revamped bar serves a variety of drinks including traditional cocktails – making it an ideal venue for night time trade. Hollywood Bowl Ashford is now perfectly positioned, not only as a great place to enjoy a game of bowling, but also as an entertainment haven for families and adult fun seekers alike.
