Kew Green have announced that their 2017 annual General Manager’s meeting will be held in Hong Kong. The three day conference will deliver workshops and presentations on the company status and future direction from its senior leadership team and give the General Managers the opportunity to see Hong Kong.
In 2017 Kew Green opened a satellite office in Hong Kong and took on management of seven HK CTS hotels across China in Beijing, Macau and Hong Kong. As such, this destination conference will allow Kew Green’s General Managers the opportunity to meet, network and share knowledge with their colleagues from the seven hotels in Hong Kong and China, who will also attend.
The knowledge sharing exercise is the second between Kew Green and HK CTS; having previously met at the University of West London in February to exchange ideas and best practices. It is hoped that the trip will give General Managers an insight into hotel operations on an international scale and Chinese culture in general.
Kew Green has also extended the opportunity to representatives from the Sales, Revenue, Property Management and HR Teams, as well as the winners of the annual internal Kew Green Football Tournament, who will take on their Hong Kong counterparts for a friendly match.
CEO Alex Pritchard commented “We are extremely excited to be taking so many employees on such an incredible trip. Kew Green is constantly taking proactive steps to ensure our employees and business leaders have the opportunities to learn about how hospitality works on an international scale, to improve our practice both at home and overseas. Our relationship with HK CTS has allowed us to activate a number of exciting concepts and we look forward to continuing to learn from one another.
