Best Western Great Britain is celebrating another year of success having been awarded the highest number of TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awards to date. With a portfolio of 257 properties across the country, 122 achieved the Certificate of Excellence award, which is 21 more than last year. BW Premier Collection led the way, with 12 out of 13 hotels recognised.
Rob Payne, CEO of Best Western Great Britain said: “Over the last few years we have been working hard to change perceptions of Best Western Great Britain. We have brought on board a number of 4-star properties which make Best Western appeal to broader audiences. As a brand, we continue to offer a wide variety of brilliantly different hotels across the country to our customers, and are working alongside hotel owners and investors to continue raising hotel standards and guest experiences. The TripAdvisor news clearly reflects the great strides the group has made in recent years, to both improve standards and provide better guest experiences.”
Certificates of Excellence are shared across Best Western Great Britain’s brands. 78 winners are Best Western Hotels, 30 are Best Western Plus, two are Best Western Premier Hotels and 12 are BW Premier Collection hotels.
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
Now in its seventh year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, restaurants and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
