Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), the leading independent Global Sales Organization (GSO) serving the Meetings & Incentive marketplace, has expanded its Global portfolio with the recent addition of three luxury-level resorts in Europe to its distinguished membership portfolio. This includes: ALHI’s first member in Scotland, the 5-Star-quality Cameron House resort on the banks of Loch Lomond; the 5-Star-quality The Kildare Hotel, Spa & Country Club (“The K Club”), situated on 550 acres of lush Irish countryside in Kildare, Ireland; and the luxurious and historic The Belfry Hotel & Resort, nestled in over 500 acres of rolling countryside in West Midlands, United Kingdom. The announcement was made by ALHI’s Chief Sales Officer Mark Sergot.
In addition to becoming new members in ALHI’s worldwide portfolio, the three resorts become the newest options in the “ALHI Golf Collection” luxury brand collection, joining such other acclaimed ALHI golf resort members as Pebble Beach Resorts, Pinehurst, The American Club Resort, The Broadmoor and PGA National Resort & Spa. Scotland’s Cameron House resort offers play on the renowned The Carrick Golf Course, host to the 2009 PGA Cup and the Europro Tour (2014, 2015 and 2016), and on the challenging 9-hole Wee Demon course. The K Club was home to the 2006 Ryder Cup, 13 European Opens and the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open 2016, and offers two lush Arnold Palmer-designed championship golf courses. While The Belfry is recognized as the spiritual home of the Ryder Cup (and the world’s only 4-time host), and features three outstanding golf courses.
With the new additions, ALHI now offers more than 100 Meeting & Incentive hotels and resorts in Europe, Asia Pacific, The Middle East and Africa. ALHI’s worldwide portfolio features more than 250 luxury-level and upper-upscale hotels and resorts, which are either independent or are with an independent hotel brand, and which specialize in serving the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions/Conferences and Exhibitions/Events (M.I.C.E.) marketplace.
“These three resorts are truly exceptional, with outstanding offerings and very appealing destinations for the meetings and incentive marketplace,” added Sergot. “The K Club in Ireland is a one-of-a-kind resort. Incredibly picturesque Cameron House resort becomes our first member in Scotland. While The Belfry is truly world-class and is a terrific option in always-popular England. We are proud to showcase these very fine resorts to the M.I.C.E. marketplace.”
Sergot added, “We are also honored that the addition of The Belfry and Cameron House resort to ALHI’s portfolio also further expands the longstanding and successful strategic relationship ALHI has with providing our Global Sales Organization services to the management company and resorts of KSL Capital Partners over the past two decades.”
