The Westminster Venue Collection, which features 34 members all based in London’s iconic City of Westminster, has welcomed two new board directors.
Kirsten Kruls joins the board of the recently rebranded collection from member venue RIBA Venues where she fulfils the role of sales and marketing manager. Having worked in the industry from the age of 19, Kirsten brings a whole host of events and sales experience from working across three continents during her career to date.
Also joining the board of the marketing consortium, which features an eclectic mix of venues from fashionable townhouses and private members’ clubs to luxury hotels, celebrated attractions, historic institutes and societies is Clare Davies. The sales and development manager at IET: Venues has a host of hospitality industry experience gained from also working with both Mint Hotel and De Vere Hotels.
Both Kirsten and Clare will be assisting the current board to shape and further enhance the collection following the unveiling of its new identity and new venue finding website in December and will be helping to grow and develop the collection’s presence within the industry.
Speaking of the new additions to the board, chair Clare Arouche said: “We are extremely excited to welcome both Kirsten and Clare to the Westminster Venue Collection board of directors who together bring a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective. As a board, we work extremely hard to ensure our venues get the most out of their membership with us and with the recent changes in our brand and identity that are already reaping benefits, the future is looking extremely exciting.”
