We know how it is -you keep meaning to book a maintenance check, but it is all too easy for good intentions to fall by the wayside, when the weeks and months fly by in a blur of menu planning, produce orders, recipe development & staff training.
However kitchen appliances represent a significant capital investment and to keep them performing at optimum levels they need regular servicing and maintenance from trained professionals. And who better to arrange it with than TWO Services, recently named ‘Best Commercial Kitchen Cleaning & Maintenance Company, UK & Ireland’ in the Build 2016, Facilities Management Awards.
We’ll make it as easy and convenient for you as possible with flexible preventative maintenance plans that include an “out of hours” option to avoid any disruption to your kitchen service.
You can choose from six or twelve monthly inspections and you won’t even have to remember when they are due, as our proactive team will get in touch to remind you beforehand and arrange a convenient date.
What is included?
Maintenance plans usually apply to the entire kitchen – all appliances and auxiliary equipment such as blenders – and every visit includes inspecting for wear and tear, making any machine adjustments, checking gas ranges and carbon monoxide emissions, replacing worn components and lubricating moving parts.
You will also receive condition reports after the visit to allow you to make proactive decisions before situations become critical. You’ll get comments on the current life expectancy of appliances –whether it is in poor, average, good, fair or A1 condition or likely to need replacing soon, whether parts are being made obsolete etc – so no more nasty surprises.
Repairs and emergencies
Although regular maintenance will ensure you are complying with Health & Safety legislation, reduce the likelihood of breakdowns and prolong the life of your equipment – occasionally emergencies do happen. When you need a rapid response, our ISO 9001 quality management system comes into its own – with the right levels of prioritisation to respond in a way that keeps you in control and able to maintain service while minimising downtime.
Our fleet of engineers are well stocked with parts for leading makes of equipment and with deliveries every day from our suppliers, we’re never short of components. That means they can normally carry out repairs on the spot, getting you up and running again without delay and avoiding repeat visits. What’s more, if you choose a labour comprehensive maintenance plan, all reactive labour and parts will be covered in the cost.
When your back is to the wall and you’re in the middle of a busy service, the last thing you need is for your oven to start malfunctioning or your dishwasher to go on strike. So before you do anything else, put organising a planned maintenance regime at the top of your to-do list for 2017.
