Revere has announced the opening of the third site under The Lost & Found umbrella, which will open on Princess Street, Knutsford on 29th September. This follows the successful roll out of the first venue in Birmingham, and the launch of The Lost & Found in Leeds earlier this year.
The Grade II listed former town hall created by Natural History Museum designer Alfred Waterhouse will house the two-tiered 215 cover bar and restaurant. This will be the biggest The Lost & Found site yet, covering a total of 4,133 square-feet. The venue will also offer a terrace of 88 covers for outdoor drinking and dining.
Led by interior design agency Concorde BGW, the interior is reminiscent of a Victorian botanical hideaway, with detailed Lepidopteran wallpapers, vintage pendant lights, and hanging floral arrangements. Preserved original features will include gothic doors, arches and dark wooden floorboards. The Lost & Found elements are integral to the design, including lock and key motifs throughout and a ‘secret bar’, featuring low drinking tables. The venue will also offer a 14-cover private dining room.
The Lost & Found drinks list will incorporate a range of ‘Found’ cocktails alongside signature ‘Lost’ cocktails, reviving and re-interpreting forgotten classics from the past. Artisan and craft beers will also be available.
The modern menu will comprise seasonal British fare, featuring a selection of sourdough pizzas with varied toppings, Sunday roasts and Josper oven-cooked steaks. The Lost & Found will be taking bookings for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
Managing Director of Revere Colin Sadler comments: “Following closely behind our recent opening in Leeds, The Lost & Found Knutsford is a really exciting new project. This building is at the heart of the Knutsford community, and we look forward to creating a beautiful space where old and new friends can enjoy great food and drink.”
