On the 23rd and 24th September 2016, Galvin HOP will be teaming up with The London Po’Boy Company to bring a taste of Louisiana in aid of Galvin’s Chance charity.
Following a hugely successful appearance at the British Summer Time Festival, The London Po’Boy Company will be serving its authentic Po’Boys from the terrace of Galvin HOP from 11am to 4pm over two days. Served alongside the Galvin HOP menu, the popup will offer the signature Louisiana Shrimp Po’Boy featuring crispy fried shrimp topped with celeriac remoulade, dill pickle salad and Hot Sauce, alongside the Pulled Rib Po’Boy with 12-hour cooked BBQ pulled pork and crispy slaw – both served in fresh Po’Boy sub rolls. Ingredients are sourced locally from Billingsgate for the famous shrimp Po’Boys and the Capital’s own Ribman for their pork rolls.
With every dish ordered, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Galvin’s Chance charity, an into work programme for disadvantaged young people. The programme leads to pre-employment hospitality training, a work placement and sustainable employment. Galvin’s Chance seeks to predominantly target those at risk of crime and offer them a real alternative.
